Roasted Rice

This sweet rice dish is an excellent starch side dish to any meal, period or otherwise.

  • 1 cup uncooked rice
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 oz grated parmesan cheese
  • 2 oz shredded motzarella
  • 2 oz sugar

Cook rice with water. Mix rice, sugar, and parmesan cheese and put into a baking dish (9x9). Cover rice with mozzarella cheese. Bake at 350 untili mozzarella begins to brown (about 15-20 minutes).
